WHAT: 2 days/1 overnight backpack
WHEN: June 17ish (midweek hike)
WHERE: 16.8 miles: Waterton Canyon to S. Platt/Dome Rock.
HOW: I'll park overnight at the west end of segment 1 (south of Conifer on Foxton Rd) and get a drop off at Waterton early morning Wednesday or Thursday
NOTES: Camping is allowed after 7 mi. Elevation range is 5,600-7,500'. Relatively flat road-walk until mile 7; after mile 9 trail climbs 1,500 ft for 5 miles then decends same in 3 miles to South Platte (about 3 miles south of Dome Rock).
